Topic: MPFT (Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) Engagement Event

Dear colleagues

For those who attended the Deaf Charter Alliance Group – please find attached flyer for the engagement event for MPFT with local Deaf Community members and representatives.

There will be similar events in Shropshire and Shrewsbury but we hope that you can attend and encourage attendance at this event. This will enable us as a Trust to improve access and accessibility for our local service users. This will be a listening and information sharing session via interactive activities…we are hoping it will generate lots of attendance and highlight areas for the Trust to focus development and support for community members when accessing services.

We will have our CEO and Community Engagement Governor attending alongside our heads of service for service user experiences (Complaints and compliments), involvement and membership to the Trust and I will be in attendance looking at Equality & Inclusion. It is an opportunity for engagement and involvement to shape local services to meet the needs of local communities.

This is the start of many events planned in Staffordshire, Shrewsbury and Shropshire over the next 12 months.

Please can you share with members and other local groups
