As part of the development of the new Patient-Led inspection system which will replace PEAT from 2013, we are undertaking a programme of work to identify what matters (most) to patients.

Based on initial work with a number of patient groups, an on-line survey (known as Zoomerang) has been set up - this seeks patient/patient representative views on what are the most important aspects from across a range of estates/facilities related issues.

I know many of you have very well-developed links with local patients either individually or through local organisations, and I wondered therefore whether I could ask you to arrange for a copy of the link below to the on-line survey to be forwarded to as many people as possible with a request that they take the time to complete it.

All responses will be anonymous, and completing the survey should take only about 15 minutes. However this relatively short time will be of enormous value to us in ensuring that the revised process is truly 'Patient-Led'.

If at all possible, the survey should be undertaken by 1st June.
