BSL for Leisure

The purpose of the “BSL for Leisure” is to teach British Sign Language at a leisurely pace with no pressure of examinations or learning deadlines and in a fun way! New members can learn BSL at their own pace, receiving instruction in the various skills.

Sessions are held every Wednesday from 6pm - 8pm at Bradwell Lodge Community Centre, Bradwell Lane, Porthill, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 8PS

This informal group welcomes everybody who wishes to learn BSL however people under 18 years must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.

Fees:

Option 1: One-off registration fee of £5 and £2 per session.

Option 2: Weekly fee £3 per session.

The Tutor’s services are provided on a voluntary basis. Classes are kept to a minimum and those interested are requested to register as soon as possible. In the event of over subscribing names will be placed on a waiting list.

Tinnitus Support Group

The monthly Group will be held at the Bradwell Lodge Community Centre, Bradwell Lane, Porthill, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 8PS on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 10am to 12noon.

This informal group welcomes everybody who suffers from Tinnitus, their family, friends or carers and any individual who would like to learn more about Tinnitus, how to manage it and to develop new coping strategies.

A small attendance fee of £2.50 is payable. The Advisor’s services are provided on a voluntary basis.
